Palli Bandhu Unnayan Sangstha (PBUS) was set up by the initiative of a rural & urban woman together with a few of her like-minded female friends in a rural part of Savar Upazila under Dhaka district but located in the bed of Baliarpur on 07 December 2003. Principal they remembered and followed the motto of great on. The organization adopted the strategy of attaching phases as an institution, micro-credit, education, health, environment, human rights, and financial improvement as major in attaining their development goals.
